When people bring awareness to communities from platforms that are not globally powerful, well, it does not seem to have an effective and immediate impact. But when the identical awareness comes from governments, powerful NGOs, and the UN, it starts making a difference globally.
That is what I am trying to push for and that is what I have presented through my writing all along: We need to make positive changes from the state level or upper echelons by initiating laws to curb waste, gluttony, and opulence (certainly traits of the ego). Change is coming and we must revel in the positive development of the power of love. Each of us now becomes a factor in helping to initiate and implement these necessary adjustments to further develop into the loving humans we collectively hope to become.
Push your state to choose the right path for the future of the globe through the principle of love. Voice your opinion against applauding egoistic traits. Remember that for every little bit of food that we waste on a daily basis, there is a person who is deprived of that same amount of food daily. We must strive to create equilibrium so we can feed many hungry lives instead of garbage cans.
