A significant problem in our world is that the people championing love through spiritual empowerment are deafened by those championing spiritual empowerment through oppression. We pass laws for abortion and pay close attention to every definition of a human being from a fertilized egg onward. Yet when it comes to living humans, we do not care to allow that much importance.
Over half of the world’s refugee population is made up of children. However, there is not a single nation with enforceable refugee laws to ensure these children reach maturity in the same manner as we fight for the journey of the egg to reach birth. There are fundamentally erroneous and egotistical perceptions on the relative value we place on life, and that life’s essential right to live freely and securely. Where is the natural aspect of our innate loving humanity? Is there much more to discuss whilst we are still unable to find it within ourselves to care for one another?
