I have previously emphasized the disadvantages of assisting institutional charities. I am pleased that others are understanding the issue and promoting the notion that institutionalized corporations are not the answer to philanthropic assistance. From religious to humanitarian causes, such a high percentage of institutions are unhelpful and their benefits negligible. Through love, we do not reach institutionalization for people and animals that require assistance but, rather, we plan to recreate their natural environments for communal structures in a loving formation.

It is ridiculous to think that these businesses trading in tragedies and calamities are indeed caring for causes beyond their economic endeavors. From building lavish zoos to jail innocent animals, to establishing foundations to help orphaned children in remote locations, the goal is simply economic profit. These institutions may manipulate us by suggesting that they are not-for-profit organizations. However, this does not mean that the organizers and employees are not receiving a hefty wage for performing their charitable obligations.

To help an animal, we should return the animal to its natural habitat. To help an orphan, we must reunite the child with the natural social environment of that child’s understanding. With proper love and care, we can ensure them a fully developing future. Only if an orphan is young enough to adapt to a new environment and culture should they be moved out of their home community. Although children are resilient, we must not use this as a precondition to assume that it is perfectly healthy to remove them from their natural societal environment. There are repercussions when we readjust a person’s life without allowing the person any right in the decision-making process that affects their future.

This is an issue of protecting the rights of voiceless people and animals who are at the mercy of philanthropic organizations enslaving them for economic objectives. There is a level of appalling financial carnage taking place at many of these institutions; NGOs, private charities, or government-initiated programs. The reckless spending of some charities that fail to reach target goals of saving lives due to lack of funds, is truly criminal. Without morality and compassion guiding our charitable missions, corruption and greed will command the path.
