About Arthur
Arthur de Boer is battling leukemia and time is critical for him! This 12-year-old in Portugal urgently needs a bone marrow transplant.
He has been in the hospital since the beginning of February waiting for a bone marrow transplant. His classmates and teachers miss his kind spirit and enthusiasm.
“I feel like the classroom is emptier. We miss Arthur’s energy. He’s a very good friend of mine, he helped me with many things.”
In 2021, when he was just 7 years old, he had his first transplant, and his mother was the donor, with only 50 percent compatibility. Now, it’s necessary to find a 100 percent compatible donor.
“It will save my life and nothing will happen to you. You will undergo tests at your local hospital…Courage, it won’t hurt and you’ll be saving my life.”
